The sun has reached the southwest in the uk- can I get a fan fare please. After what feels like months and months of rain we finally have those sun beams! It is hard not to get excited or optimistic with our British weather. However, I am sorting my closet and giving it a spring clean clearout!
Yes! – I’m still sorting out the closet. If you follow me on instagram, I have been cleaning out my closet for perhaps over a month. No – it’s nothing big or fancy. It’s just a little temperamental when you have a storage system that doesn’t work for you. Even more annoying that i paid for the built-ins that frustrate my order obsession! I have been testing and trying to find hacks to rectify our wardrobe mishap. But finding a solution to fit our space has been long and challenging.
However, enough complaining that’s for another blog, because I have a new toy to try out! I had a John lewis [ad] order arrive today and inside is my The home edit shelf dividers! Iv had my eye on these see through wonders for a a while now. Since the Netflix show was released here in the U.K to be precise. I haven’t been able to get my hands on them until now. I’m hoping this will help solve some of my closet chaos
The shelf dividers have come at a good time, as I’m switching out the winter clothes for my spring season must haves! We are only three weeks away from spring so I am starting to get the house ready as the season starts to shift.
I always start with a good old fashion wardrobe clear out.
I tend to put away those extra wooly knits and navy blue shades. Keeping the browns, blacks but adding beige cream and white into the mix. These dividers will help keep my knits organised and I’m looking forward to getting them out of the box. Of course as true Thehomeslogg style I will write a full review of what I think of these plastic pretties. This is also a good time to start purging any unwanted items that no longer fit your vibe. I know I have a bigger waste line compared to last spring, so I’m cleansing out the clothing that no longer fits the hips. Sandles and loafers are getting a good dusting, while my heavy winter boots are getting ready to hibernate.
